Motion picture resources and bioethics teaching in the human movement sciences

Abstract This descriptive-exploratory study conducted with graduates from the Graduate Program in Human Movement Sciences at Santa Catarina State University sought to understand meanings of using movies bioethics teaching and identify motion pictures bioethical themes related exercise health human movement sciences. Data were collected semi-structured interviews investigated by content analysis. A priori categories based on objectives. The participants’ answers generated a posteriori subcategories, organized as follows: contributions learning for professional life; perceptions about pedagogical resource, including suggestions specific course. Movie resources make more meaningful pleasurable, bringing students’ realities closer content, facilitating such learning.
